Jason van Aarde

Professional Hunter

Jason is a fifth generation Big Game Hunter. Jason's great, great grandfathers were ivory hunters in Southern Africa; one of Jason's prized possessions is the double rifle owned and used by his great grandfather in pursuit of those big tuskers. Jason was born and raised on a farm in the Eastern Free State and began accompanying his father on family hunts into Northern Zululand at age three. He started his professional hunting career at age eighteen.

Willem Gertenbach

Professional Hunter

Willem grew up on the family ranch in the Free State of South Africa. Hunting, fishing, and a love of the outdoors has been his passion and a way of life since early childhood.

Willem brings to Witkop Safaris his vast knowledge of South Africa's wild game, flora, and fauna.
